On February 2024, together with Gemma Ferrer and Cora, we founded Edicions Cuc, a new local publishing house in Menorca with the hope of bringing a renewal to the island landscape, both in terms of the content and type of publications, but also of their graphic sensibility. I took on to create the corporate identity of the publishing house and the edition, design, layout and production of the publications.

The identity is based on the holes that a cuc (worm in catalan) leaves everywhere, including books. The shape of this hole is taken from the dot in the font Cormorant Infant, which has a playful seriousness that the publishing house wants to convey. These elements go together with naive illustrations of diverse worms with fun personalities and a tone of voice that lets us laugh at life.
